To a wonderful Mother, Wife, Sister, and Special Friend --- Jackie wore so many important roles in the time I was blessed to be with her, here. I know she is in the clouds looking down threatening to take me out with a cast pan if I don't get out of her kitchen. I did not make your service tonight because I have to go to the doc tomoorow, probably not from gnawing on those excellent tasting, easily digested Pork Roasts I used to cherish! lol No one picked on you more than me, and when you brought up that comment I made about Derrell should stand you up in a gurney strapped to hand truck so you could continue cooking last week, you sure let me know you had not forgotten our love for one another. I hope someone else can step up to the plate, no pun intended, and keep the Gang healthy. Rest in Peace. You two behave up there. Love Always, The Carter Clan ??

There are just no words after losing our father 6 days before our mother...but Mama was the finest woman on this earth. I love her dearly. She raised her kids so well and we are very blessed. I will miss and love her forever.
